With inflation prices so high (nearly 4%), having money sit in a savings account that earns <1% is no longer viable. Even savings bonds will lose money over time. Property investments can be a hassle, they are illiquid, and property taxes are too high. Property syndicates can work but the entire industry is unpredictable. The stock market is the only investment I would use, as it has outpaced the rate on inflation, is liquid, and is just FUN.
